ROBOTICS

ROBOCON COMPETITION-2014-2015

Robocon jr. competition 2014-2015.Our schools two students Abhishek Khatavkar and Prathamesh Kadam had recieved an prize for the most innovative robot.Basically robocon was a competition organised by MIT pune.It was an open competition for students from 5th to 10th.In this  some coaches had came to our place to take robotic sessions in which they gave us some robotic kits and we had to assemble them as per their instructions. At the competition we had a task to do with help of our bots in which we had to assemble some gears in the given time. This was an excellent competition and was inspiring for us.From taking idea from this we have done some robots which are mentioned below.

DUST-BOT

This was a robot made by me and my friend in std 9th ,which has won 2nd prize at taluka level science exhibition held in Satara,Maharashtra,India. This was based on the concept of SWACHH BHARAT MISSION.Its actually a manually controlled robot which collects garbage by its mechanical arm and segregates it into dry and wet garbage respectively. It is an eco-friendly robot who is powered by solar energy. It has a pesticide sprayer to spray medicine at unclean places for killing mosquito's,etc. It has vacuum cleaner at its side to clean dust, etc. This is a unique device.Having all necessary things required for cleaning.I am sure if we modify this robot and make use of them on large scale ,India will soon become a clean and green country.
